Kurt Rietz is a Zimbabwean‑born engineer, entrepreneur, and strategic leader whose career spans more than three decades across telecommunications, electrical engineering, fintech, property development, and national‑level advisory work. A first‑class electrical engineering graduate from the University of Zimbabwe, he has founded, led, and grown multiple companies—including Radiocommunication Systems, The Comshop (a Nokia distributor), HOT Recharge, and Positricity—each marked by innovation, resilience, and operational excellence. His work ranges from designing large‑scale radio networks, electrical systems, and a power station to pioneering m-commerce and mobile‑banking technologies. Kurt has also served in influential national roles, including board appointments at ZESA Holdings, Powertel, and Miracle Missions, and he chaired Zimbabwe’s Vision 2040 initiative.
At the center of Kurt’s leadership is his unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, the foundation of his purpose and the compass for every decision he makes. He views every business, relationship, and opportunity as a stewardship responsibility before God, believing that LIFE should be filled with Laughter, lived with Integrity, rooted in Family, and pursued with Excellence so that we can give fully to our Mission. Whether building technology, shaping strategy, or mentoring teams, Kurt’s aim is to honor Christ in all he does—using his gifts to uplift people, strengthen communities, and advance work that reflects the character and compassion of Jesus. In the end, he believes the only treasure we carry into eternity is the people we encourage to join us on the way.
