Alicia Cardin is the founder and creative force behind Frosted Pink, an award-winning artisan cookie and dessert brand based in the Bradenton and Sarasota, Florida area. What began just 4.5 years ago as a creative side hustle quickly evolved into a full-time, highly sought-after business known for exceptional taste, artistic design, and meaningful customer experiences. A retired Army wife, homeschooling mother of three sons (ages 26, 24, and 8), proud mother-in-law to two daughters-in-loves, and wife of 25 years to her husband Tom, Alicia’s journey is a story of resilience, reinvention, and purpose-driven entrepreneurship. After leaving a successful career in medical coding and later exploring merchant services, Alicia realized she was being called toward a more creative path. While building her professional network, she began pursuing a God-given vision on the side and ultimately built Frosted Pink into one of the region’s most recognizable dessert brands through networking, community involvement, and relationship-driven growth.
Known for the belief that “not all cookies are created equal,” Alicia is also a mentor and branding educator. Frosted Pink has earned corporate partnerships, local “Best Of” honors, and the 2025 Manatee Chamber Small Business of the Year award. Her grit was proven when she fulfilled a 500-cookie corporate order solo with two broken hands. As she transitions Frosted Pink into a full retail storefront and coffee concept—another God-given vision—Alicia continues inspiring entrepreneurs to build memorable businesses.
